THERMOPLASTIC PHOTOLUMINESCENT PILING: On December 14, 1999, PolySum receives its second patent for marine pilings - U.S. patent number 6,001,491. Patent title is “Thermoplastic Photoluminescent pilings and Process for Making Thereof”.

On February 20, 2003, PolySum received patent protection in Australia - patent number 754129.

On February 19, 2008, PolySum received patent protection for its trapezoidal thermoplastic railroad cross tie - U.S. patent number 7,331,533.
